Fat mixtures

Fat mixtures are made up in accordance with customers' wishes and to their specification.

Nowadays, fat mixtures are used in a few sectors within the food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics industries. The individual make-up of the mixture is based on the customer's wishes, to meet customers' special requirements. Refined vegetable oils are used in the majority of fat mixtures. The number of different vegetable oils used ranges from 2 to 8. The majority of mixtures include soya, maize, sunflower, groundnut, olive, wheatgerm, rapeseed, coconut and palm oil. However, some fat mixtures also include special oils, such as MCT oil, medicinal cod liver oil or castor oil.
